We are so excited to offer unique OT/Feeding Services at Bee.
Here at BeelievAbility, your child can receive OT services in a variety of ways:
OT Feeding Session: Buzzing through Feeding Therapy with Emily. Emily utilizes a SOS approach to feeding therapy sessions. These sessions may consist of working on skills with feeding and eating, oral motor development, gag reflex, sensory aversions, and your standard picky eaters.
Needed information before Eval: If G Tube is present a swallow study within 6 months.
OT Feeding Intensive: Feeding Intensives can be a variety in length ranging anywhere from 3-5 days a week and 1 to 2 sessions in one day. Feeding Intensives are great to work on oral motor strengthening, awareness, and self-feeding skills through practice and repetition. There are so many different skills to work on during a feeding intensive such as: drinking from a cup/straw, suck-swallow reflex, bilateral chewing and clearing, sensory to different foods, independent eating with or without utensils, and so on. Emily utilizes a SOS approach to feeding therapy sessions.
Needed information before Eval: If G Tube is present a swallow study within 6 months.
Bee Strong Taping for Little Wings: Need taping for an intensive or to help achieve gross/fine motor skills? Emily is trained in Rock Tape Training and can provide a session to Tape and do functional exercises with Tape during session. Families can also learn how to tape at home to help with carry over and functional activities.
Baby Bee: Baby Bee is a great OT session for our Baby Honey Bees that need help with: Torticollis, ear infections, developmental milestones, reflexes, eating and feeding. We have some families that are on the waitlist for Early Intervention or First Steps and want to get their child seen ASAP. This is one option to get your child seen ASAP vs waiting to get off the waitlist for other therapy places. This is one of Emily’s passions and she is ready to help your baby achieve their milestones.
OT with Emily/Allie: OT sessions that help with fine motor skills, primitive reflex integration, upper extremity/body strengthening, emotional regulation , sensory processing, CNS regulation, and Executive functioning skills. We see a variety of populations and ages at BeelievAbility for OT and PT needs. We love to get creative in or OT sessions.
Pricing
All OT Contract Sessions duration will be 45 to 55 minute sessions.The first session will be an OT Evaluation to help evaluate your child and their needs. After assessment is done, all further appointments will be OT contract sessions. Emily is currently in the clinic Tuesday through Thursday for scheduling purposes.
Prices:
OT/Feeding Evaluation: $275
OT Contract Sessions: $120 Emily
OT Contract Sessions: $200 Allie
Feeding Intensive with Emily: $120 per session
1 Week Feeding Intensive for 3 days: $720 ($500 deposit)
1 Week Feeding Intensive for 5 days: $1,200 ($500 deposit)
2 Week Feeding Intensive for 3 days: $1,440 ($1,000 deposit)
2 Week Feeding Intensive for 5 days: $2,400 ($1,000 deposit)
3 Week Feeding Intensive for 3 days: $2,160 ($1,000 deposit)
3 Week Feeding Intensive for 5 days: $3,600 ($1,000 deposit)
To book an intensive a deposit is required to reserve your spot and the remainder of the payment will be due before the first session on the first day of intensive. If final payment is not received, before the start of the 1st session, the intensive can not move forward until payment is made and missed session due to late payment will still be charged.
Frequent Flyer Program
Our Frequent Flyer program is a membership program for all contract families at The Hive. It is a punch card system that allows you to track your contract OT and PT services, receiving a complimentary session after a set number of sessions have been complete. It is a way to recognize our appreciation for our Frequent Flyers here at BeelievAbility, our Very Important Bees (VIBees)
