Meet Thistle!

Thistle is BeelievAbility’s therapy dog. Thistle is 2 years old (Oct. 28th) and she was training to be a future service dog with Canine Companions. During her professional training, they found cataracts in both of her eyes; therefore, she was released from the program. Thistle, was recommended to become a therapy dog. Thistle loves children, being outside, and giving/receiving cuddles. We are currently working on a Children’s Book called, Thistle in Training, to write about the adventures of the service dog training process, advocating for animal-assisted therapy, spotlighting certain disabilities, and overcoming obstacles. Thistle has a merchandise line on www.outshinelabels.com called, Thistle and Allie, where they are selling merch to raise money for an illustrator and giving proceeds back to Canine and Companions.
